Frequently Asked Questions

SHOULD I BOOK A MAKEUP TRIAL FOR MY WEDDING?

Absolutely! The trial is very important for both you and for the Makeup Artist. Both for your confidence and to ensure the makeup artist knows what they are required to do! You also want to ensure that you are 100% happy with the look you have both created so it can be easily replicated on the day.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING TRIAL?

I usually recommend 6-8 weeks before the wedding. This usually means that you (the bride) knows the theme you’ll be going for, the dress and any other ideas you would like us to look at.

WILL MY MAKEUP LAST ALL DAY?

I use special products that will ensure your makeup is long lasting. If you are getting married overseas in a humid environment, I also provide waterproof makeup that will ensure you look flawless all day long!

DO I PAY A DEPOSIT FOR WEDDING BOOKINGS?

Yes a non- refundable 30% deposit will be required at the time of booking. This is to secure your booking. The deposit will be deducted from the final cost on the day. Full payment will be required 4 weeks before the day of the wedding.

HOW LONG DOES MAKEUP TAKE?

I would allow an hour for your makeup to be completed.

DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF CANTERBURY?

Yes I do. If you would like me to travel outside of the 30km outside the Ashburton area then a quote for travel and accommodation (if required) will be provided upon request of a quote. Prices negotiated at time of booking. If you are getting married overseas and wish for me to attend then the same policy applies, travel and accommodation will be quoted.
